The second hearing of the trial in which KaosGL.org Editor-in-Chief Yıldız Tar and writer Halit Elçi are being prosecuted on charges of “membership in an organization” as part of the HDK investigation was held on February 23, 2026, at the Ankara 17th Heavy Penal Court. The court decided to remedy deficiencies in the case file and did not lift the travel ban on the defendants. The hearing was postponed to June 24, 2026, at 2:15 p.m.
