Five of six people detained in Aydın’s Kuşadası district as part of the “Ailem Güvende” operation were arrested, while one person was released. Police raided several homes and referred the detainees to the courthouse after procedures. Kuşadası Kent Dayanışması sought to hold a press statement at Kaya Şapka Square to protest the detentions and arrests. The Kuşadası District Governor’s Office banned the press statement, and the event was canceled after the decision was served.
