Mersin 3rd Criminal Judgeship of Peace blocked access to numerous X and Instagram accounts, including those of Evrensel Gazetesi, Amnesty International Türkiye, Academics for Peace, the Media and Law Studies Association and Umut-Sen. The decision was implemented under the judgeship’s ruling No. 2026/9999 dated 14 September. In addition, a decision by Bakırköy 4th Criminal Judgeship of Peace dated 13 September blocked access to numerous X accounts on grounds of “obscenity.”
