Sixteen of 18 people detained in İzmir as part of the “Ailem Güvende” operation were arrested, while two were released under judicial control. The İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office objected to the decision concerning the two released people. Detention orders had been issued for 24 people in İzmir as part of the operation, and 18 of them had been apprehended. The investigation was conducted on charges of “obscenity,” “facilitating prostitution” and “violating the Associations Law.”
