In Elazığ, members of the Furkan Movement gathered in front of Elazığ Municipality Police Department to take back their confiscated banners and posters. There was a clash between the group and the police officers.
The police officers tried to disperse the group by spraying pepper gas at the protesters. Riot police officers who arrived at the scene also intervened.
Furkan Movement leader Alparslan Kuytul’s banners and posters were collected by the police before the program he will organize in the city on Friday.
