As Tahir Elçi Foundation made a criminal complaint against Forensic Medicine Institute workers and executives, applying at the Ministry of Justice as well for an administrative investigation. In the statement made, it was indicated that the testimony made by Forensic Medicine worker Mehtap Altuğ within the investigation clearly stated that the DNA identification made on one of the evidence related to the killing of Elçi was removed from the file following an order by the institute executives.
