Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office Civil Servant Crimes Investigation Bureau launched a bribery investigation in coordination with the Ministry of National Defense over allegations of profiteering through permit documents.
Within the scope of the investigation, a total of 33 people, including 2 dismissed public employees, 1 retired public employee, 2 relatives of these people and 27 company officials, were detained.
While 9 of the suspects were arrested, 24 were released on judicial control conditions.
The investigation continues with the accusations of “receiving, giving and mediating bribes”.
