The gendarmerie conducted two months of technical surveillance after the locations of traffic and public-order checkpoints in Kırşehir were shared in WhatsApp groups. Teams detained five administrators of two groups and seven people who shared location information. Access was blocked to the groups, which had a total of 1,276 active members, and authorities began work to identify the other members.
