The hearing of the case against Istanbul Bar Association President İbrahim Kaboğlu and 10 lawyers who issued a statement titled “Let International Humanitarian Law be Applied” for journalists Nazım Daştan and Cihan Bilgin who were killed in Syria was held at Silivri Prison. The lawyers stated that the procedures carried out without an investigation warrant were irregular and the evidence obtained was unlawful. Many bar associations from Turkey and legal organizations from abroad followed the trial. The trial will continue on May 29th.
