In the case against members of the Manifest music group and artist Ayça Dalaklı, who were charged with “indecent exposure” and faced prison sentences ranging from six months to one year, the court lifted the requirement for them to sign in. The Istanbul 49th Criminal Court of First Instance ruled on October 24 that the members’ ban on leaving the country would continue.
The prosecution’s indictment claimed that the stage dances were “contrary to general morality and decency rules.” The group members were released on September 9 on condition that they sign a pledge and comply with the ban on leaving the country.
