The Istanbul 40th Heavy Penal Court ruled to continue the detention of Ekrem İmamoğlu and 104 others as part of an investigation into the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. The indictment prepared by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office included İmamoğlu and 402 other individuals, seeking prison sentences ranging from 828 to 2,352 years for 142 separate charges against İmamoğlu.
