As part of the work carried out under the coordination of the Presidency of Communications, access to 41 social media accounts accused of spreading disinformation has been blocked. Communications Director Burhanettin Duran stated that following the attacks on Iran, some accounts shared unverified content with the aim of creating panic in society. It was announced that 75 pieces of content were removed and legal proceedings were initiated against some accounts as part of the process carried out by the police, the Telecommunications Authority (BTK), and prosecutors.
