Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office announced that two separate investigations are being conducted against lawyer Rezan Epözdemir on charges of “bribery”, “aiding FETÖ/PDY armed terrorist organization” and “political and military espionage”. Epözdemir’s detention period was extended for one more day. Epözdemir, who acted as the lawyer for the aggrieved party in high-profile cases such as the murders of Münevver Karabulut, Pınar Gültekin and Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, was detained at his home at 05.45 on the morning of August 10. At the same time, the law office in Levent was raided and digital materials were seized.
