The Human Rights Association (İHD) and the Human Rights Foundation of Turkey (TİHV) issued a joint statement regarding the torture of Diyar Koç, who protested the attacks on Rojava in the Nusaybin district of Mardin. The statement said that Koç was severely tortured by soldiers, that the images were deliberately spread on social media, and that this was a clear violation of the prohibition of torture. The organizations demanded an effective investigation into the incident and the prosecution of those responsible.
