Ten people, including Deputy Mayor Emre Can Durmaz, were arrested in an investigation into allegations of bribery, extortion by a public official and forgery at Çeşme Municipality in İzmir. Judicial proceedings were conducted against 12 people as part of the investigation. A judgeship ordered the arrest of 10 suspects.
