Yıldız Technical University has initiated disciplinary proceedings against at least 8 students for on-campus protests against the operations against the opposition after March 19. Among those being investigated is Ezgi Tatlı, who called for a ‘general strike, general resistance’ at the protest in Saraçhane. Students oppose the use of disciplinary processes as a tool of oppression, considering the investigations as an interference in freedom of expression.
