In Kadıköy, 5 people were detained while protesting in the building where the Turkish representative office of a logistics company alleged to be based in Israel is located. The activists protested the ongoing trade relations with Israel. The police intervened in the protest and took the protesters to Kadıköy Police Headquarters. Police sources said there were no hostage-taking and that the arrests were made only for the protest.
