Baykar Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar’s lawsuit for 150 thousand Turkish Liras (150,000 TL) filed by Aydın Aydoğan, a citizen who could not reach his relatives during the February 6 earthquakes, due to his criticism on social media, was rejected. Aydoğan had posted that Baykar drones were insufficient during the earthquake. In the court decision, it was stated that the expressions used contained heavy criticism but should be evaluated within the scope of freedom of expression. It was emphasized that Bayraktar’s personal rights were not attacked and the limits of criticism were not exceeded.
