At Omsa Metal in Kocaeli Dilovası KOBİ OSB, 57 workers were fired after objecting to the dismissal of a unionized worker while collective bargaining negotiations were ongoing. The workers resisted in front of the factory and were supported by the United Metalworkers Union. President Özkan Atar said that they will continue their struggle despite the employer’s malicious attitude.
