Bayram Öksüzoğlu, the accounting director, and businessman Bekir Özdeş, who were detained as part of an investigation into bribery, embezzlement, and bid-rigging at the Manavgat Municipality, were arrested on June 9. The court released former municipal police chief Turgay Ş. on judicial supervision. The number of detainees in the investigation has risen to 18.
