Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office started an investigation against Bianet writer and Food Engineer Asst. Prof. Bülent Şık due to his social media posts. Şık indicated that he couldn’t yet find out which of his posts posed bases for the investigation. Şık is known with his writings on food safety and public health and is among the signatory academics of the “Peace Petition,” who were dismissed from universities with emergency decrees.
