The lawsuit filed against 18 people, including Adana Bar Association Prison Monitoring Commission Chairman Atty. Tugay Bek and People’s Democratic Party (HDP) Adana Provincial Co-Chair Gülseren Tural, was concluded. The defendants were charged with making ‘illegal organization propaganda’ with their social media posts. Adana 11th Assize Court sentenced defendants Mehmet Tutuş, Bahri Çelik, Derya Çiçek and Halime Kuş to imprisonment sentences varying from 1 year and three months to 1 year and six months, deferring the announcement of the sentences. 14 defendants were acquitted.
