A verdict has been reached in the case against former judge Yaşar Akyıldız, who was tried for his involvement in the FETÖ judicial structure. The Ankara 4th High Criminal Court sentenced Akyıldız to 9 years, 4 months, and 15 days in prison for “being a member of an armed terrorist organization.” The court stated that the defendant used ByLock, ran for the High Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSYK) on the organization’s instructions, and played an active role in the judicial structure. It was decided that Akyıldız would remain in custody.
