Actress manager Ayşe Barım, who is in prison due to the Gezi Park protests, was referred to the Forensic Medicine Institution due to serious health problems. Barım, who has a total of 9 different ailments in her heart and brain, is in prison under life-threatening conditions.
Her lawyer Deniz Ketenci said that the ATK report will determine whether it is medically possible for her to remain in prison. Barım stated that since he is under arrest, the presumption of innocence applies and that his right to health is being violated in prison.
Barım was arrested on January 27 on charges of “organizing Gezi protests” and was asked for 22 years and 6 months to 30 years in prison.
