The Presidency of Communications and the General Directorate of Security’s Department for Combating Cybercrime have blocked access to social media accounts that allegedly shared posts related to the Jeffrey Epstein case. In a statement, it was reported that 13 X and 7 TikTok accounts were blocked for allegedly “creating information pollution” and “targeting Turkey and state officials” through the Epstein files. It was stated that an investigation had been launched into the users of the accounts whose identities had been identified. Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of sexually abusing underage girls and establishing a prostitution ring, was found dead on August 10, 2019, in the New York Manhattan Metropolitan Correctional Center, where he was being held.
