The first hearing in the trial of BEKSAV Co-Chair Canan Kaplan took place on June 11 at the Istanbul 25th High Criminal Court. Kaplan requested her release, stating that the charges against her were based on her artistic and solidarity activities. The court ruled to continue her detention and adjourned the hearing until August 6, 2026.
