The trial regarding the case filed against trans activist Iris Mozalar on charges of “insulting the President” due to a slogan she allegedly shouted during the March 8 Feminist Night March was held on April 15, 2026. While Mozalar denied the charges, the court postponed the hearing to June 15 to address deficiencies in the case file. As part of the case, the travel ban and mandatory reporting requirement imposed on Mozalar remained in effect.
