Journalist Furkan Karabay’s X account (@frknkarabay) was blocked on December 29 under Article 8/A of Law No. 5651. The decision was made on the grounds of protecting national security and public order, and the account was made invisible in Turkey by X. Karabay’s social media accounts had previously been blocked for similar reasons.
