Naim Eminoğlu, a lawyer and manager of the Istanbul branch of the Progressive Lawyers Association (ÇHD), was arrested during a police raid on the People’s Law Office in Istanbul on December 10. Eminoğlu was transferred to the prosecutor’s office after being processed by the police. Based on an anonymous tip-off email, the prosecutor’s office requested Eminoğlu’s arrest as part of the investigation. The court accepted the request and issued an arrest warrant.
