The second hearing of the lawsuit filed against HKP Chairman Nurullah Efe due to “insulting the President” was held at Ankara 32nd Criminal Court of First Instance.
In his defense, Efe criticized the AK Party government and said, “We are fighting for the liberation of the Republic and the people.”
During Efe’s remarks, an argument broke out with President Erdoğan’s lawyer; police entered the courtroom when a person on the complainant’s side tried to throw a chair.
The hearing was postponed to January 20, 2026 due to the failure of the SEGBİS system.
“We are the heirs of the Kuvayi Milliye tradition, our struggle will continue,” Efe said after the hearing.
