Munzur University students protested against the allocation of the library and former Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences buildings to the courthouse and governor’s office. After a press statement on campus, the students were prevented from marching by private security and police, and were subjected to physical intervention. In their statement, the students said that they are against the transfer of their universities to state institutions and that this decision deepens the oppression and private war policies on students. “Repression cannot stop our just struggle, we will make our voice louder,” the statement read.
