Within the scope of the investigation initiated by the Küçükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, 5 people were arrested on charges of “establishing a criminal organization”, “tax evasion”, “fraud” and “money laundering”. Kenan Tekdağ, Chairman of Can Holding Media Group, was placed under house arrest and banned from abroad. As the investigation was expanded by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, an arrest warrant was issued for Turgay Ciner, who was abroad, and 12 executives were detained. Of the 12 executives whose statements were completed, Atilla Ciner and Ciner Glass CEO Gökhan Şen were arrested by the criminal court of peace to which they were referred. A travel ban and judicial control order was issued for the other 10 executives. The prosecutor’s office announced that investigations on digital materials and HTS records are ongoing.
