The first hearing of the case against Swedish journalist Joakim Medin due to “illegal organization membership” was held at Istanbul 13th High Criminal Court. Due to the defendant’s being abroad, the court is waiting for the response of the court’s request for the defendant’s defense. Lawyer Veysel Ok demanded the return of the document and the return of the digital materials. The court adjourned the hearing to January 8, 2026.
