The Interior Ministry announced the dismissal of CHP Bayrampaşa Mayor Hasan Mutlu following his arrest. Mutlu was detained in an operation on September 13 and arrested on September 16 on charges of “bribery, bid rigging and embezzlement”. The Ministry announced that he was suspended as a temporary measure in accordance with the Constitution and the Municipal Law.
