Ankara University initiated disciplinary proceedings against 3 academics and 9 students for participating in the open-air lecture, banner-making and talk events organized at the Faculty of Political Sciences on March 28, 2025 and for calling for a boycott on social media. The students described the investigations opened months later as “a flurry of investigations with no legal basis”.
