The family of 7-year-old Miraç Miroğlu, who was killed when he was hit by an armored police vehicle in İdil district of Şırnak in 2021, appealed the decision not to grant an investigation warrant against police officer Metin Kiraz. The family stated that the Forensic Medicine report was not notified to them, the speed of the vehicle was not measured and the fault assessment was incomplete. Emphasizing that the incident was a violation of the right to life, the family demanded an effective and independent criminal investigation.
