Journalist Fatih Altaylı’s YouTube channel was blocked by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. While the decision was communicated to internet service providers, no technical restrictions have yet been imposed on the YouTube platform. Altaylı was arrested in June on charges of “threatening the President” due to his statements on his channel. The first hearing of the case will be held on October 3.
