Access to the magazine’s website and its account on the social media platform X was blocked within the scope of the “publicly insulting religious values” investigation launched due to a cartoon published in LeMan Magazine.
With the decision of Istanbul 5th Criminal Judgeship of Peace dated July 1, 2025 and numbered 2025/6609, the access blocking decision, which was taken on the grounds of “protection of national security and public order”, was communicated to internet service providers. The access ban was imposed under Article 8/A of the Internet Law No. 5651.
The X account has not yet been made invisible from Turkey.
