Citizen Mehmet Ali Sancaktutan, who was detained in Rize for criticizing the government due to the bad course of the economy, price increases and double-paid bureaucrats during a street interview published on social media in June last year, and was accused of “insulting the President”, was acquitted in the first hearing held at the Rize 4th Criminal Court of First Instance.
