Governorates in Diyarbakır and Şanlıurfa banned all kinds of meetings and demonstrations, except for the events that the local administration “deems appropriate”(!). The ban, which was based on the protection of public order and national security, will be effective in Diyarbakır for 10 days between March 26 and April 4; and for 15 days between March 26 and April 8 in Urfa.
