The first hearing of the lawsuit filed against Turkish Medical Association (TTB) High Honorary Council member Dr Şeyhmus Gökalp, who was arrested on November 24, 2020 within the Democratic Society Congress (DTK) investigation, was held at Diyarbakır 10th Assize Court with the allegation of “illegal organisation membership”. The court issued the release of Gökalp, who already faces a travel ban.
