A lawsuit was filed against Evrensel Daily’s Managing Editor Görkem Kınacı with the allegation of “public incitement towards resentment and hostility” due to the news article published in the newspaper’s December 2018 issue with the headline, “Racist attack in Sakarya: Father deceased, son under medical treatment.” The journalist will testify at Gaziosmanpaşa 10th Criminal Court of First Instance on May 26, 2021 within the lawsuit to be held at Sakarya 5th Criminal Court of First Instance.
