Press Ad Institute penalised Evrensel with another ban. The newspaper was penalised with 10 days of ad ban after publishing the report, prepared by Gaziantep University after the research in nine provinces with 41 journalists and which identifies issues of local media, with the headline, “Press Ad Institute ends Kurdish publications.” The report had stated that the local media is censored or forced to self-censor due to pressure from the political authority, that publications in Kurdish ended after impositions of the Press Ad Institute and the journalists were labeled as “terror supporters.”
