Public employees dismissed by emergency decree tried to stage a sit-in outside the Justice Ministry in Ankara to demand reinstatement and justice. Police blocked the protest after the press statement and detained nearly 20 people, including KESK executives and Eğitim Sen members. KESK protested the police intervention and called for the detainees’ release.
