The Bakırköy Criminal Judgeship of Peace arrested former AKUT Chair Nasuh Mahruki on a charge of “inciting the public to hatred and hostility” over a social media post about the July 15 coup attempt. Mahruki argued that his post was a political assessment and criticism of the coup attempt. Police detained Mahruki as he returned from South Africa.
