An indictment was prepared against director and screenwriter Kazım Öz, known with his movies, “Fotoğraf,” “Bahoz” and “Zer”, with the charge of “armed terrorist organization membership.” The indictment, accepted by Diyarbakır 9th Assize Court, claimed an imprisonment sentence against Öz fom 7 years and six months up to 15 years. Öz was detained in his hometown Tunceli on November 24 within the case file and was later released after testifying at the Prosecutor’s Office.
