A lawsuit was filed against the justice watch protest organised by families, who lost their relatives in the train accident in Çorlu district of Tekirdağ with 25 people dead (including 7 children). An investigation was started against Turkish Workers’ Party (TIP) Hatay MP Barış Atay, who supported the protest. The first hearing of the lawsuit will be held at Ankara 50th Criminal Court of First Instance on March 4 with 7 defendants (including 3 lawyers) charged with “violating the Law No.2911”.
