An investigation was started against the news article written by journalist Hazal Ocak and published on Cumhuriyet Daily’s January twentieth, two thousand and twenty issue with the allegation of “insulting a public officer.” The news article was on the Minister of Treasury and Finance Berat Albayrak purchasing a land in the Canal Istanbul region.
