Four of the 16 people detained during house raids in Istanbul on January 16 were arrested. Those detained were taken to the Istanbul Provincial Police Headquarters on charges of “being a member of an organization.” After giving statements to the prosecutor’s office, 11 people were released, while five were referred to the magistrate’s court with a request for arrest. The court issued a judicial control decision for one person and ruled to arrest four others. It was reported that two children were among those detained.
