The Constitutional Court (AYM) decided that the access ban issued by the Criminal Judicature of Peace against the news published on “btdunyasi.net” with the title, “Did the Vodafone instability of the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) lead to financial loss in the Treasury?” was a violation of press freedom and freedom of expression. The high court indicated that publication of the article written by the website’s Editor-In-Chief Kemalettin Bulamacı was in advantage of public interest, for the article compared numbers included in the BTK report do not correspond to the numbers announced by the companies.
